The census states she had birthed 10 children by 1900 and 6 were still alive that year. Also in the home was her son Samuel Shaw, 13, Feb 1887; Julia Shaw, 11, Feb 1890; George Shaw, 8, Dec 1891; and her son Charles Sadillos, 5, Jan 1895; and daughter Rosa Sadillos, 1, Aug 1898. Everyone was born in New Mexico except Lucy in Mexico. Beecher's father was born in Pennsylvania. The Shaws' father was born in Illinois. The Sadillos' father was born in New Mexico.

2. She appeared in the household of Charles Baldonado Sedillos Shaw in a census in 1910 in Central City, Grant, NM. ^{4 4} The 1910 census recorded in Central City ( now called Santa Clara ): Aril P. Cameron, 38, and wife Nannie L., 32, both born in Missouri, living with three boarders born in New Mexico: Juliana Shaw, 22; Charles Sedillos, 13; and Rosa Sedillos, 11.

3. Julia appeared in the household of Luciana Baldonada in a census in 1920 in Hurley, Grant, NM. ^{5 5} The 1920 census recorded widow Lucy B. Shaw, living with daughter Julia, 31; and son Charles, 23. Everyone was born in New Mexico. Lucy's parents were born in Mexico.
