1. Obituary: Coshocton Tribune on 19 Feb 1953 in Coshocton, Coshocton, OH. Mrs. Malona Kughler, 91, of Stone Creek died last night at the home of her son, Charles, at Ft. Wayne, Ind., following an extended illness.

The former Malona Powelson was born and spent her early life at Birds Run. She was a member of the Stone Creek Lutheran church.

In addition to the son, she is survived by one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p. in. Sunday at the Stone Creek Lutheran church. Burial will be in the Stone Creek cemetery.

Friends may call at the Geckler funeral home at Stone Creek from 3 to 5 and 7 to 0 p. m. Saturday.


Malona married John Kughler, son of John Kughler and Elizabeth Witmerin. (John Kughler was born in 1845 in , , OH,2 3 died on 20 Jan 1922 in Jefferson Twp., Tuscarawas County, OH 2 and was buried in Stone Creek: Stone Creek Cemetery, Tuscarawas, OH 2 3.)
