Mrs. Edith Beecher Dies at Home of Daughter In Bucyrus.
BUCYRUS - Mrs. Edith Mae Beecher, 63, a widow of Henry Beecher, died here Saturday evening at the home of a daughter, Mrs. A. J. Barciz, following an illness of two weeks. Born June 4, 1875 in Johnsville, Mrs. Beecher had lived here for the past six years. She was a member of the Methodist church at Waterford. Surviving are a son, John Weifling of Fredericktown; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Caris of Columbus; two daughters, Mrs. Mae Ute, near Mansfield, and Mrs. Barciz with whom she made her home, and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Tuesday at the United Brethren church at Johnsville with Rev. Paul B. Zimmerman, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Shauck cemetery.
