With them: Walter L. 19, Mar 1881; Lucinda M, 17, Apr 1883; Gertrude, 15, Dec 1884; Elouise, 12, Oct 1887; Genevra, 10, Nov 1889; Samuel E., 7, Apr 1893; and Katherine, 4, Apr 1896. Everyone and their parents were born in Indiana, except Adrian's parents were born in Switzerland.

Obituary: Terre Haute Tribune: obituary of Mrs. Kathryn Beecher Taylor on 10 May 1952 in Terre Haute, Vigo, IN. ⁴ Mrs. Kathryn Beecher Taylor, 56 years old, wife of Ray Taylor, retired city fireman, died at 10:35 o'clock Friday night at the residence, 1411 Maple Avenue. Besides the husband, she is survived by a son, William Hopp of Richmond KY; a daughter, Carolyn Jeanne Taylor, at home; two brothers, Samuel E. Beecher, Sr., and Walter Beecher, both of Terre Haute, and three sisters, Mrs. Lucinda Snyder and Mrs. Eloise Garrigus, both of Terre Haute, and Mrs. Geneva Nelson of Mobile AL. The body was taken to the Cross Funeral Home wehre services will be held at 3:30 o'clock Monday afternoon. Rev. Thomas Stovall will officiate and burial will be in Highland Lawn Cemetery.
