Crash Kills Mason Man

LEBANON; Ohio -- Two persons, remained hospitalized Saturday with Injuries received In a three-car crash in which a Mason man died. Mark G. Oberle, 23, 1418 Western Row Rd., was pronounced dead late Friday at the accident scene on Cincinnati-Dayton Road in Union Township. In Mercy Hospital were:
Connie Wooten, 19, 6494 Cincinnati-Dayton Rd., in serious condition at the Hamilton hospital's intensive care unit.
David Brooks, 20, 6101 Hankins. Rd., Middletown, in fair condition. His injuries included a broken leg and facial cuts.
Union Township police said the Oberle car sldeswiped the auto of Brent Beacher, 27, 7109 Fox Plum Rd., and then collided with the Brooks vehicle, in which Miss Wooten was a passenger.
Police said neither Beacher nor his wife were injured. Oberle's body was taken to the Shorten Funeral Home. Mason.
The death was Butler County's 16th traffic fatality of 1974, compared to 25 for the same period last year.
