Census in 1850 in Johnstown, Licking, OH. 4 The 1850 census recorded in Monroe Township Enas [sic indexed as Ewas] Beacher [sic], farmer, 71, living with wife Hannah, 59; Martha, 29; Sarah, 27; Orvil, 23; and William, 19. Enas was born in Connecticut, Hannah in Massachusetts, and the children in Ohio. 2. Census in 1860 in Waldo Twp., Marion, OH. 2 William A. Beecher, farmer, 29, was living with wife Orvil, 24; Henry H., 3. Also with them: Martha Beecher, 40, and Hannah Beecher, 69. Everyone was born in Ohio except Hannah in Massachusetts. William's real estate was worth $4,000 and personal estate $500. Hannah married Eneas Beecher on 9 Apr 1818 in Johnstown, Licking, OH.1 (Eneas Beecher was born on 21 Mar 1778 in Bethlehem, Litchfield, CT,5 died on 10 Feb 1851 in Johnstown, Licking, OH 5 and was buried in Johnstown: Johnstown Cemetery, Licking, OH, USA 5.) |
