• Book: Anniversary History of Lehigh County on page 288 published, 1914. In the early time of Allentown they kept a hotel at the corner of Tenth and Hamilton Streets. Her only daughter, Mrs. Mary Young, widow of the late Col. E.B. Young (who was at one time mayor of the city of Allentown) is living at Allentown with her children.

Peter married Elizabeth Knerr, daughter of Andreas Knerr and Catharina Elisabetha Schall, on 28 Feb 1819. (Elizabeth Knerr was born on 27 Aug 1798 in Lowhill Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, USA.)
