The sum of $1000 was bequeathed to a sister, Alice B. Willoughby, who "helped me bear my troubles" and a like amount to a brother-in-law, not named, for "his graciousness to us during our life."
Mrs. Hughes died in Jewish hospital, June 19, of a heart attack caused by a fracture of the skull and compound fracture of the leg received when she was struck by a hit-and-run driver. She had resided at 4630 North 12th street.
Mrs. Hughes was a daughter of Annie R. (Gresh) and the late Myers C. Beecher, 248 North Charlotte street, Pottstown.
