2. She appeared on the census in 1860 in East Lackawannock Twp., Mercer, PA. Following the death of Henry at age 39 in Ohio, his wife Elizabeth [nee Bixler] moves back to PA with her young children.

3. Obituary: Herald of Truth on 1 Aug 1895. 1 BUCHER. July 4th 1895, in Columbiana, Ohio, of Bright's disease, Elisabeth, widow of Henry Bucher, aged 76 years, 5 months and 12 days. Her funeral, which was largely attended, was held on the 7th at the Oberholzer M. H. where services were conducted by Jacob Weaver and Allen Rickert. She was the mother of 8 children, 4 preceding her to the spirit world and the 4 surviving her being present at the funeral.


Elizabeth married Henry Bucher, son of Adam Bucher and Maria Magdalena Krever. (Henry Bucher was born on 21 Dec 1812 in Hanover Twp., York, PA 2 3, christened on 17 Jan 1813 in Hanover: Emmanuel's Reformed Church, York, PA,3 4 died on 9 Oct 1852 in New Lisbon, Columbiana, OH and was buried in Midway Mennonite Church Cemetery, Mahoning, OH.)
