13. Obituary: The Sentinel: obituary of Ella M. Beecher on 23 Oct 1973 in Carlisle, Cumberland, PA. ⁸ Miss Ella M. Beecher, 80, RD1 Newville, died Sunday at the Carlisle Hospital. Born in Penn Township, Miss Beecher was the daughter of the late John S. and Carrie Gilbert Beecher. She was a member of the Centerville Lutheran Church and a member of the church's Friendly Circle and Busy Worker Society. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Simon (Viola) Russell, Honeybrook, Pa., four brothers, Herman D. Beecher, Camp Hill; Samuel A. Beecher, RD1 Shippensburg; Paul E. Beecher, Fannettsburg; and Earl S. Beecher, Walnut Bottom. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Centerville Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Glenn Hafer officiating. Burial will be in the Newville Cemetery. Friends may call tonight from 7 to 9 at the Centerville Lutheran Church.
