Born in Penn Township, Miss Beecher was the daughter of the late John S. and Carrie Gilbert Beecher. She was a member of the Centerville Lutheran Church and a member of the church's Friendly Circle and Busy Worker Society. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Simon (Viola) Russell, Honeybrook, Pa., four brothers, Herman D. Beecher, Camp Hill; Samuel A. Beecher, RD1 Shippensburg; Paul E. Beecher, Fannettsburg; and Earl S. Beecher, Walnut Bottom. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Centerville Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Glenn Hafer officiating. Burial will be in the Newville Cemetery. Friends may call tonight from 7 to 9 at the Centerville Lutheran Church.
