She had given birth to one child by 1900, living with them: Maggie B., 9, born Mar 1891, in Missouri. John was born in Missouri, his parents in France. Sarah was born in Indiana, her parents in Pennsylvania. Also in the home: brother-in-law Jerome B. Simpson, carpenter, 48, born Sep 1851, in Indiana.

2. Census in 1920 in Fitzgerald, Ben Hill, GA. ³ John Bucher, 73, widowed, "father", was living with his daughter, Margaret, 28, and her husband, Robert Clark, 31. Robert owned their home at 415 W. Oconee Street in Fitzgerald. Clark was born in Georgia as were his parents. John and his daughter were born in Missouri. Her mother's origin was "Indian". Germany is listed as the birthplace of John's father and mother.

Friends of Mr. John Bucher, 86, will regret to learn of his death which occurred on Thursday morning, June 21, at 6:30 o'clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs R. J. Clark at 415 W. Oconee Street.

Mr. Bucher was born and reared in St. Charles, Mo.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. R. J. Clark, and two grand daughters of this city, one sister at Florissant, Mo. who is 96 years of age, one nephew, Fred Grumich of St. Louis, and one niece, Mrs. Pauline White of Hawthorne, Calif.

Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 9:30 from St. Williams Catholic Church with Rev. J. Joseph Malloy officiating.

Pall bearers will be Messrs. C. A. Newcomer, Sr., E. G. Liles, Charles Gibbs, David L. Paulk, R. E. Archer, and George Kratner.

Interment will be held in Evergreen cemetery.

John Bucher, 86 years old Union Veteran, died here Thursday morning, June 21st, shortly after rising for the day, having been in good health up to his demise. The deceased came here from St. Charles, Mo., in 1895 with the early colonists and was highly respected by his neighbors and associates. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. R. J. Clark, with whom he made his home, two grand daughters, one sister of Florissant, Mo.

The funeral services were held from St. Williams Catholic church, Father J. Joseph Malloy of Albany, officiating. The pall bearers were C. A. Newcomer, Sr., E. S. Liles, Chas. Gibbs, David L. Paulk, B. E. Archer and George Kratzer. Interment was in Evergreen cemetery.
