The Annville Congregation had two houses, both brick, Annville and South Annville or Long's. Annville Congregation had a membership of 120, had four ministers - Eld. Alfred Gingrich, Eld. Henry Hollinger, Allen Bucher, and Jacob Gingrich ; two deacons - Jacob Heagy and John Henry Gingrich. They were organized into a congregation March 25, 1912. Alfred Gingrich was chosen elder in charge ; Jacob Heagy, secretary ; John Henry Gingrich, treasurer. Deacons elected since are Cyrus Winters, Jr., Harry Gingrich, and Simon Bucher, and Elmer Minnich has been called to the ministry.


Simon married Sallie A. Bachman, daughter of Reuben H. Bachman and Sarah J. Moyer. (Sallie A. Bachman was born on 17 Feb 1888 1 and died on 21 May 1962 1.)
