Newspaper: Marion Star: Wedding shower for Miss Pearl Sanders, 27 Mar 1906, Marion, Marion, OH. 14 20 A miscellaneous shower and farewell party was given Miss Pearl Sanders at the home of Mrs. Charles H. Conley of Orchard street Monday evening, in honor of her approaching marriage to Earl Beicher of Gallipolis, formerly of this city, which will be solemized Wednesday evening.
Miss Sanders was presented with a number of useful presents.
During the evening luncheon was served. The dining room and table were prettily decorated with pink and white. The plate favors were pink roses excepting the bride's rose, which was white.
Those present were Mrs. Roscoe Oborn, Mrs. Frederick Snider, Mrs. Frank M. Smith, Mrs. Joseph Mills, Mrs. A. H. Sanders, Miss Maimie Lawtence, Miss Stell Diebold, Miss Meryle Sellers, Miss Mabel Vaughan, Miss Grace Miller, Miss Ollie Riley and Miss Majorie Cusic.
Miss Sanders left today for Gallipolis where the wedding will take place and where she will make her future home. Mr. Beicher and his father are conducting a bakery at that place.

Miss Pearl Sanders of Marion and Earl Beicher of Gallipolis Were Married Wednesday Evening

The Marion Star, dated March 29, contained the following notice of the marriage of Miss Pearl Sanders, who formerly resided in Richwood and who is well and favorably known here:
"Miss Pear Sanders of this city and Mr. Earl Beicher of Gallipolis, were married at Mt. Pleasant, West Virginia, Wednedsay evening. The ceremony was performed at the home of relatives of Mr. Beicher and was witnessed by only a small company.
"Both of the young people are well known in Marion. Up until two years ago the groom lived with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John E. Beicher, on Cherry street. He is now associated with his father in a bakery at Gallipolis.
"Miss Sanders, a daughter of Mrs. A. H. Sanders of Orchanrd street, left Monday to join Mr. Beicher at Gallipolis, being accompanied form here by the groom's father. The young people will take up their residence immediately at Gallipolis, where Mr. Beicher ahs furnished a home ready for occupancy."

3. Census in 1910 in Marion, Marion, OH. 1 14 Renting at 254 Orchard Street was Earl I. Beicher, 27, baker in a bakery, who was married for four years to Laura P., 24. She had given birth by 1900 to two children: Charlie R., 3; and Kathleen S., 1. Everyone was born in Ohio.

He was living with wife Anna Pearl, 32; Charles A., 12; Katherine L., 10; and John E., 4. Everyone and their parents were born in Ohio, except Earl's father was from Pennsylvania.

Four related Beicher households lived in 1920 within a few blocks of each other: Margaret widow of Emanuel b.1847; George M. born 1873; John E. born 1856; and his son Earl born 1883.

9. Newspaper: Marion Star: obituary of Mrs. Earl Beicher, 11 Feb 1978, Marion, Marion, OH. 11 14 Mrs. Earl I. (Anna Pearl Sanders) Beicher, 90, of Marion Manor Nursing Home, died Friday in Marion General Hospital. She was born in Richwood and spent her life in this area. Mrs. Beicher was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church, Lydia Chapter 83 Order of Eastern Star and Order of White Shrine of Jerusalem 15.
Surviving are 2 sons, John of Mount Prospect, and Charles of Marion; a sister, Mrs. Kathleen Krueger of Columbus, Ind.; 3 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. Her husband died in 1957.
The Rev. Ira Benton will conduct the funeral service at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Boyd Funeral Home. Burial will be in Marion Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
