Johannes was on the Lowhill, Bucks County, Pa. taxlist in 1762, but was still single. He was on the Lowhill taxlists through 1788, listed as owning 200 acres.
He was not listed in the U.S. Census in 1790, because it appears that he was the Johannes George who died in March 1790, administration #1426 at Easton, Northampton Co., Pa.
In the Revolutionary War he was enrolled in the militia from Lowhill, 2nd Class, 4th Company, 3rd Battalion (later 6th) throughout the war.
Johannes Heinrich Helfrich listed his funeral in March 1790 and gave his age as 54-4-25, which would make the year of his birth as 1737. In the census of 1790 a "widow George" is listed and her family was one male over 16, one under 16 and 8 females.
The final accounting of John George's estate on 20 October 1791 listed the following distribution of funds: 1/3 to the widow.....£74.1.7 2 shares to the eldest son.....£29.1 2.8 8 other children cash to have £14.16.4.....£118.10.8 Total.....£222.4.11 Disbursements to others.....£21.3.8 Total.....£257.7.1

His age at death is recorded by Rev. Helffrich as 51 years, 4 months, 3 days. He died in March 1790 (the day is left blank but it is prior to March 10).
