Some further research is needed on this Henry as follows:

A Henry Bicher formerly of Franklin Co. but in 1859 Fairfield Co., witnessed Conrad Heyl's will in 1859, according to the records in Franklin Co. This could be this Henry, or more likely Henry's father Henry. A copy of the will abstract is at bottom. This would mean this Henry or his father lived in Franklin County before coming to Fairfield County. That makes sense since there were many Bicher families who came from Lancaster Co. PA to Franklin County OH about 1830, along with allied families like the Carpenters and Neiswenders.

We also have an Elizabeth Bicher born 10 Jul 1827 who married in Franklin County a Charles Heyl born 1822, so there must be some connection. By her age, she would be this Henry's sister or cousin. She is http://www.SearchTrees.com/tree/13546.htm

Bicher, age 37, boot and shoe maker, is listed in the 1860 census in Amanda Township, Fairfield County, Ohio with real estate valued at $500 and possessions worth $200. Living with him is wife Elizabeth, 37; Eliza Bicher, 7; Charles Bicher, 1; and others we presume are Elizabeth's by a first marriage: Ezra Rockey, 14; Elvira Rockey, 12; Wilson Rockey, 9; Fred Rockey, 8. Everyone was born in Ohio, except J.H. who was born in Pennsylvania. The post office is Lancaster, Ohio.

• Census, 1880, Greencastle, Fairfield County, Ohio, USA. Henry Bicher, age 58, laborer, is living with wife Sarah A, 56; Eliza, 26; Lorenzo, 20; John H., grandson, 2 years. Everyone was born in Ohio except Henry in Pennsylvania. His parents and Sarah's parents are from Pennsylvania.

Henry married someone Hannah Nickerson, daughter of Unknown and Lydia, on 19 Jul 1851. (Hannah Nickerson was born about 1827 in , , Maryland, USA ⁵.)

Henry next married Sarah A. Weiser, daughter of Samuel Weiser and Margaret Hart, on 23 Aug 1858 in , Fairfield County, Ohio, USA. (Sarah A. Weiser was born about 1823 in , , Ohio, USA ^{2 4}.)
