Two prominent young Allentonians, Miss Betty Jane Kistler, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. John C. Kistler, of 108 North Eighth street, and Hubert H. Bury, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank H. Bury, of 1611 Turner street, were married at noon yesterday during a ceremony performed at the home of the bride's parents. Dr. Samuel K. Piercy, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, officiated at the nuptials in a beautiful setting of palms and garden flowers.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of navy blue tucked silk marquisette over navy taffeta. The dress was trimmed with white tucked organdie collar and cuffs. Her large linen hat was also of navy as were her slippers and gloves. She wore a shoulder corsage of gardenias.

Miss Betty Snyder, maid of honor, wore navy blue taffeta with dubonnet hat and accessories. Her corsage bouquet was of yellow rosebuds and del phinium.

Mrs. Kistler, mother or the bride wore navy blue sheer, with large navy corsage of gardenias. Mrs. Bury, mother of the bridegroom, wore a gown and accessories in navy blue with corsage of delphinium and pink rosebuds.

Thomas Moyer, Baltimore, Md. served the bridegroom, as best man. A wedding breakfast was served following the ceremony.

Later yesterday, Mr. and Mrs. Bury left by motor on a honeymoon trip. For her trip the bride wore a hunter's green linen suit, with hat to match, chamois color sweater, gloves and shoes. She wore her shoulder corsage of gardenias. After July 1, the couple will reside at the Saeger apartments, 1401 Turner street.

Hubert was graduated from college and Betty from high school. They were born in Pennsylvania and lived in the same place in 1935. Hubert's annual salary was $1500.

8. Obituary: The Morning Call: obituary of Betty K. "Janey" Bury on 26 Oct 1982 in Allentown, Lehigh, PA. 7 Mrs. Betty K. "Janey" Bury, 68, of 2940 Livingston St., Allentown, died Monday in the Allentown and Sacred Heart Hospital Center. She was the wife of Hubert H. Bury. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Dr. John C. and Florence M. (Shaffer) Kistler. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Allentown. Surviving with her husband are two sons, John K. and Robert H., both of Allentown, and a grandson. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown. There will be no calling hours. The J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, 16th and Hamilton streets, Allentown, is in charge of arrangements.
