Mrs. Florence M. Kistler, 84, of Lehigh Manor Nursing Home, Allentown, died Saturday in Allentown Hospital. She was the wife of Dr. John C. Kistler, also of the Lehigh Nursing Home, a. former president of the Allentown Hospital Board of Trustees. Born in Hazleton, a daughter of the late Charles and Matilda (Polk) Shaffer, Mrs. Kistler was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Allentown. She was a former director of the department of fine arts and the home department of the Allentown Woman's Club, a member of the Allentown Garden Club and a life member of the Lehigh Country Club. Surviving with her husband are a daughter, Betty K., wife of Hubert Bury of Allentown, and two grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are being made by the J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, 1601 Hamilton St., Allentown.
