Beecher on 27 Jan 1951 in Wilmington, Los Angeles, CA. ⁸ Masonic funeral services for Joseph William Beecher, 1019 East O street, will be held Monday, January 29, at 2 p.m. at Cartwright Mortuary Chapel, 702 Broad avenue. Rev. Charles H. Swift, Sr., will officiate, and interment in Roosevelt Memorial Park will follow. Mr. Beecher, age 66, passed away yesterday in a Los Angeles hospital. He had been a resident of Wilmington for 27 years. In addition to his widow, Petra, the deceased is survived by three sons, James Paul, Joseph William, Jr., and Samuel; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Roberts and Mrs. Julia Bogdanoff, and nine grandchildren.
