She loved learning about other cultures and befriended people from many different countries. She gave freely to various charities and people in need. Dorothy was an outstanding homemaker, cook and mother and loved to entertain friends and family. Learn, share, love, determination, encouragement, and consideration of others will stand as her legacy that will live on in her family.


Dorothy married Robert Lincoln Beacher, son of Benjamin Franklin Beacher Jr. and Bertha Priscilla Snyder, on 7 May 1945 in Saint Francis, Cheyenne County, KS.1 2 (Robert Lincoln Beacher was born on 22 May 1924 in Shenandoah, Schuylkill, PA 1 3 5 8 9 and died on 19 Aug 1984 in , , , Sierra Leone 1 8 9.)
