Dear Mr. Beacher:

While at the State Library in Harrisburg recently, I came across some copy prepared by your from the obituary of Bernard Eisenhuth who died in 1866. I am a direct descendant of Bernard, according to information given to my Mother (who is still living) by her Mother. I am hoping that you may hold some more information that will aid me in filling in some gaps.

My Grandmother gave my Mother a laminated copy of the original newspaper article which has been in your family since 1866. On the back she attached a handwritten list of descendants as follows:

Bernard Eisenhuth
William Eisenhuth
Caroline Eisenhuth married John Raker, buried in Coburn, Centre Co., PA
William Washington Raker married Elsie Bogenrief, my grandmother, buried Old Cedar Cemetery, Swengel, Union Co., PA
Caroline Raker Heckman, my Mother

If you have any information, no matter how minute, I would appreciate hearing from you at your earliest convenience.

Sincerely,
Doris Lessig (signature)
Doris Heckman Lessig.
