Born in Central, SC, on August 6, 1937, he was the son of the late Hugh Edgar Bolt and the late Bernice Clark Bolt. Ralph was a 1955 graduate of Pendleton High School and attended Georgia Tech. After 25 years of service he retired from Sears and also worked as a Sales Manager at Dick Brooks Cadillac. He was an avid NASCAR fan who also enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. However, most of all, he loved his wife Vicki Beeker Bolt of 45 years, children, and grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Tracy Bolt Kelly and her husband Doug Kelly, Jr. of Greenville, SC; a son, Brett Bolt and his wife Leslie Smith Bolt of Anderson, SC; three grandchildren, Brice Bolt, and Tripp and Erin Kelly; a father-in-law, Earl G. Beeker; and two faithful dogs, Grey Goose and Tippy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Truman Carey Bolt.

A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. with Reverend Dr. Tony Smith officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.
