An old Familien Register in the possession of modern-day Bicher descendents lists these Bauman's who must be related to Maria Bauman:
Frauungen: On the 4th day of October A.D. 1857 Mr. John Bauman to Miss Maria Bicher.
Samuel Bauman was born June 3rd 1858. (note: the 5 is written funny; could be another number.)
John Henry Bauman was born October 30th A.D. 1860
Samuel Bauman died December 22nd A.D. 1863.
John Bauman died May 11th A.D. 1877.

1. Census in 1850 in Brecknock Twp., Lancaster, PA. 2 The 1850 Census recorded Isaac Bicher, carpenter, 28,. living with wife Mary, age 24; and Sarah, 1. Also in their home is Sarah Weid, 49, and Mary Young, 8. Everyone was born in Pennsylvania. Isaac's real estate was worth $400.
.

2. Census in 1860 in Earl Twp., Lancaster, PA. 8 In the 1860 Census in Earl Township in Lancaster County, post office New Holland, we find the household of John Bowman, age 45, day laborer, living with Maria, 35; son Samuel, 3; John, 7; and Lucetta, 9. (In the census John and Lucetta are listed as Bowman but in reality were born when Maria was married to Isaac Bicher.) Everyone was born in Pennsylvania. John owns no real estate; his possessions are worth $600.
On the previous census page is Henry Moyer, age 40 and his wife Mary, 39 and their family. Henry is likely Maria's brother as her maiden name was Moyer.

3. Census in 1870 in Voganville, Lancaster, PA, USA. 9 The 1870 census recorded John Bownman, laborer, 52, living with wife Mary, 44, and son John, 9. Everyone was born in Pennsylvania.

4. Census in 1880 in Voganville, Lancaster, PA, USA. 10 The 1880 census recorded Maria Bowman, widowed, 51, living with her daughter, Lucetta Curley, 26; and grandchildren: Annie Curley, 6; Ida Curley, 4; Walter Curley, 2; and Lillie Curley, 1. Everyone and their parents were born in Pennsylvania.

5. Census in 1900 in West Earl Twp., Lancaster, PA. 5 The 1900 census recorded John Curley, inn keeper, 51, born Apr 1849, living with wife Lucetta, 47, Dec 1853; Lillie, 21, Apr 1879; John, 13, Jan 1887; Nettie, 10, Apr 1890; Leroy, 8, Sep 1892; and Stella, 4, Apr 1896. Also in the home: grandson Charley Yohn, 1, Jul 1899; and mother Mariah Bowman, widowed, 75, Mar 1825. Mariah had given birth to 8 children and 2 were alive in 1900. Lucetta had been married for 27 years and given birth to 10 children, 9 alive in 1900. Everyone and their parents were born in Pennsylvania.
