She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon. Holding her close int heir hearts and memories are her three daughters and son, Ferol (Jack) Dinkel, Helen (John) Beacher, Mary (Marty) bradley-Toczdlowski, Frank (Dawn) Preston who gained their strength, courage and sense of humor from their mother. The treasures of Maxine's heart are her nine grandchildren, Lonni (Ben) Shepard, Jayme (Tom) Bradley-Holt, Nicole Bradley, Jessica Anderson, Amanda and Jacqueline Dinkel, Jonathan and Daniel Beacher, Emily Toczydlowski; great grand-daughter, Samantha Madison Mae; cousins, Dorothy, Larry, LuAnn, Neba Dorgan, special sister, Jean Ewing; special daughter Carole (John) Rozegnal; dearest friends, Dorothy DeMaagd, Pearl Blok, George and Doris Willemstein who filled her earthly life with joy, laughter and love. She was a Social Worker for the State of Michigan for 30 years and an active member of S.E.R.A. and the Senior Senate. We will carry her spirit with us always as she watches over us. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, April 1st at 3 PM at Peace Lutheran Church, 1225 12 Mile Rd., Sparta. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Luekemia, Lymphoma Society of America.
