Obituary: New Oxford Item: obituary of William Sentz on 30 Jan 1908 in Cumberland Twp., Adams, PA. 5 William Sentz died at 5 o'clock Wednesday evening at his home in Cumberland township, aged 78 years, 3 months and 22 days. The cause of death was pneumonia together with heart trouble. Deceased was a wagonmaker by trade and well known and much liked in the section where he lived. He was ill about ten days. Mr. Sentz is survived by his wife and the following children: Mrs. Ella Mummert of Hanover, Mrs. Jacob Hoke of Cumberland township, Jacob Sentz of near Taneytown, Mrs. Charles Snyder of Cumberland township, David Sentz of near Fairfield, Augustus Sentz of Cumberland township, Oliver Sentz of Mount Joy Township, and Mrs. Wenschoff of near Taneytown. He is also survived by one step-brother, Peter Sentz of Mount Joy township.
