She was a lifelong resident of the Bristol area and a former employee with Bristol Regional Medical Center and Smith Cline Beecham Laboratories. She was a former member of Bradley Street Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, William W. Booher; three sons, Lawrence "Eddie" Booher, Bluff City, Timothy Lynn Booher, Waynesboro, VA, and Danny Wayne Booher, Bristol TN; one daughter, Debbie Marie Parris, Memphis; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson. WeaverFuneral Home is in charge.

June married William Walmer Booher, son of William Norman Booher and Sarah Latisha Booher. (William Walmer Booher was born about 1927 in , Scott County, Virginia, USA, died on 21 Jun 2001 in Bristol, Sullivan County, Tennessee, USA and was buried in Ordway Cemetery, Bristol, Sullivan, Tennessee, USA.)
