Revealed today is March 3rd marriage of Miss Peggy Ann McCartney to Leonard P. McClanahan Jr. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs George R. McCartney of RD 4 this city and Mr, and Mrs. Leonard P. McClanahan Sr., of 719 E. Front St., Dover.
The single ring ceremony took place in the parsonage of St. John's Evangelical and Reformed Church at Dover at 2:30 p.m. It was performed by the Rev. Reinhard Krause.
Miss McCartney chose a pink suit, navv accessories and a white rose corsage for her wedding. Her attendant selected a navy suit, white accessories and white roses. She was Miss Janie McClanahan, the bridegroom's sister.
Bill McCartney, brother of the bride, was best man.
The bride was graduated from Midvale High School in 1949 and her husband from Dover High School in 1948. He is employed by Marsh Wall Products Inc.
They will live at 108 Walnut st, Dover.
