Born in Murrell, Lancaster County, on April 28, 1935, he was the son of the late Henry and Lillie Sensenig Bicher. He was the former owner of Better Built Barns in Bethel, where he was still employed. Henry was a member of the Little Mt. Mennonite Church.

He is survived by his sons Kevin R. (Rachel) Bicher of Pine Grove, John E. (Nancy) Bicher of Bethel and Gerald R. (Jeanelle) Bicher, Sr., of Bethel; daughters Mary Ann Walleigh of Bethel, Mabel "Jean" (Christopher) Wine of Schaefferstown and Joyce E. (Donald) Weingard of Pine Grove; sister Mary Hoover of Ephrata; 34 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at the Little Mt. Mennonite Church, 301 Musselman Rd., Fredericksburg. There will be a viewing on Monday evening from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow the service in the adjoining church cemetery.
