Helen Irene Booher, age 78, formerly of Coffey Street, Bristol, Tennessee,passed away on Feb. 18, 2004, at Hermitage Nursing Home in Elizabethton. Ms. Booher had been the school crossing guard at Haynesfield Elementary School
for 25 years and was a member of Fellowship Chapel. She was the widow of Jess Willard Booher.

Survivors include: son, Jesse L. Booher and wife Teresa of Elizabethton; daughter, Patricia Miller and husband Kenneth of Elizabethton; grandchildren, Brett Greene and wife Maria, Wade Booher, Chelsey Booher, Kenneth T. Miller II and Samantha Olfeldt; and two great-grandchidren.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, Feb. 20, 2004, at 8 p.m. in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Lester MacKinnon and Rev. Scott Price officiating. Committal services will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Glenwood
Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers include the Bristol Tennessee Police Department and the faculty and staff at Haynesfield Elementary School. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-7:45 p.m. prior to the service. Online

Helen married Jess Williard Booher, son of William Andrew Booher and Sarah Susan Mc Clain. (Jess Williard Booher was born on 15 Mar 1919 in Gypsum, Ottawa, Ohio, USA and died on 24 May 1976.)
