Obituary: Radney Funeral Home: obituary of James Turner Beeker on 15 Mar 2016 in Alexander City, Tallapoosa, AL, USA. ⁶ Graveside service for Mr. James Turner Beeker, 88, of Alexander City, will be Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 3:30 pm at the Graveside at Hillview Memorial Park. Rev. Clyde Coker will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 17, 2016 from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.

Mr. Beeker passed away on Monday, March 14, 2016 at his residence. He was born on November 7, 1927 in Salisbury, North Carolina to Harold T. Beeker and Frances Owen Petersen. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Mr. Beeker was an avid tennis player and enjoyed spending time on Lake Martin.

He is survived by his daughter, Linda Stiff (Gary), of Notasulga, son, Mike Beeker (Judy), of Saraland, Al; eight grandchildren and ten great- grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Viola Richardson Beeker; son, Pete Beeker; parents and sister, Wanda Havner.
