Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Florida Street Baptist Church where he was a member. The body is at Hane-Lineberry Funeral Home.
Survivors are his wife, the former Annie Ivey; daughters, Mrs. W. H. Leach of Greensboro and Mrs. S. P. Burroughs of Rockledge, Fla.; sons, George E. Walsh of Charlotte, James E. Walsh and Robert H. Walsh, both of Greensboro; sisters, Mrs. R. L. Leftwich of Danville, Va., Mrs. C. A. Lewis and Mrs. Archie Bevill, both of High Point.
