Mr. Lovelace was born on December 23, 1928 in Yadkin County to the late Reggie and Annie Vanhoy Lovelace. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife of 42 years Emma Lou Edwards Lovelace, a brother; Sam Lovelace, and a son; Phillip Vanhoy. Mr. Lovelace is survived by a daughter; Lois Beeker & husband Ben of Jonesville, a brother; Joe Lovelace & wife Faye of Dobson., three grandchildren; Sammie Lynn Dameron & husband Thomas, Jackie Ray Cearley, and Craig Vanhoy, and several loving nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, 2:00pm, March 10, 2011 at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel in Elkin by Rev. Richard Cardwell. Burial will follow at Fall Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Jonesville. The family will receive friends at Johnson Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 from 6:00-8:00pm. Johnson Funeral Home will be serving the Lovelace family.
