SALISBURY -- Mrs. Ida Beeker Miller, 91, of Brian Nursing Center in Brevard, formerly of Salisbury, died Tuesday at the nursing center.
Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in City Memorial Park.
Mrs. Miller was a member of Mary martha Sunday school, Salisbury Chapter Order of Eastern Star, life member of United Methodist Women, and life member of World War I 494 Auxilary.
Survinvg are one son, Harvey H. Miller Jr., of Brevard; daughter, Mrs. Juanita Miller Spector of New York City; brother, George Beeker of Lexington; sister, Miss Beulah Beeker of Albemarle; six grandchildren.
The family will be at the parlor of the church 10-11 a.m. Friday.
Memorial contributions may be made to her church, 217 S. Church St., Salisbury, N.C. 28144 or to the Brevard College Library Fund, Brevard, N.C. 28712.
