The Rev. and Mrs. W. Clyde Beecher, 515 E. Osborn, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Mary Katherine, to Harold G. Sadler. Mr. Sadler is the son of Mrs. Lora Sadler, 842 W. Weldon. The pair will recite vows in late summer ceremonies. Miss Beecher attended Arizona State College at Tempe, where she was affiliated with Phi Kappa Delta sorority.

The bride is the daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. W. Clyde Beecher, 515 E. Osborn. Mrs. Lora Sadler, 842 W. Weldon, is the bridegroom's mother.

For the vows read by her father, the bride chose a gown with chantilly lace bodice and peplum and a bouffant skirt. Her veil of bridal illusion was fingertip length, and she carried an arrangement of gardenias on a Bible.

Feminine attendants included Miss Dona Francis, maid of honor; Misses Pat Hadley and Barbara Quinn, bridesmaids. The attendants wore gowns of shadow organdy in pastel shades over white taffeta trimmed in chantilly lace.

The honor attendant carried talisman roses, while the bridesmaids chose pink carnations. Miss Carol Ann Kidwell was flower girl, and Bobby Crozier was ring bearer.

William S. Weast served the bridegroom as best man, and ushers included Phil Rye, Bill Woodward, Karl Turner, and Doug Vance. Candlelighters were Miss Dottie Lou Kidwell, niece of the bridegroom, and Jim Beecher, brother of the bride.

A reception was held in Bethel Center after the ceremonies. The pair will honeymoon at Lake Arrowhead, after which they will establish a home in Los Angeles.

Mrs. Sadler attended Arizona State College at Tempe where she was a member of Phi Kappa Delta. She is attending Woodbury College where she is a member of the Interior Arts Guild. Her husband was graduated from ASC.

He was affiliated with Lambda Chi Alpha social fraternity and is past president of the student American Institute of Architects. He will continue his studies at the University of Southern California, where he is majoring in architecture.
