She was born in Berks County, daughter of the late William and Kate Lengel Oxenrider. She was a member of Grace Independent Church. She is survived by her husband William C. Troxel; four children: Jennie, wife of Robert Powell, Elizabethtown; Evelyn, wife of Raymond Smith, West Lebanon; Florence, wife of Clifford Rohland, Lebanon, and Raymond C. Troxel, Lebanon. Surviving also are 18 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren; a brother, John Oxenrider, Myerstown; two sisters, Mrs. Maude Gibble, Myerstown, and Mrs. Lottie Heck, Wyomissing. A son, John, died in June of this year.

Eva married William Cleveland Troxel, son of John Harrison Troxel and Sarah Margaretha Strunk. (William Cleveland Troxel was born on 13 Dec 1884 in , Berks, PA,³ died on 28 Sep 1973 in Lebanon, Lebanon, PA ³ and was buried in Ebenezer: Covenant Greenwood Cemetery, Lebanon, PA ³.)
