5. Obituary: Ephrata Review: obituary of Franklin H. Fry on 26 Sep 1919 in Ephrata Twp., Lancaster, PA. 7 Franklin H. Fry, a well known resident of Brecknock township, Berks county, died at his home near Adamstown on Thursday afternoon of last week, from infirmities due to old age, at the advanced age of 86 years, 8 months, and 17 days. He is survived by his wife Elisabeth, nee Gehman and the following children: Clara, wife of James Behm, Adamstown; J. M. L. Fry, near Adamstown; A. R. L. Fry, at home; John Fry, near Adamstown. There are also 11 surviving grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. John H. Fry, of Red Run is a surviving brother, and Amanda, wife of Ephraim Leaker, of Terre Hill, is a surviving sister. The funeral was held from his late home on Monday afternoon followed by service and interment at Muddy Creek church. Rev. Dr. Martin Schweitzer officiated and Funeral Director H. M. Mellinger had charge.
