Samuel H. Gross, pastor of the Grace Lutheran Church.
Interment was in the Franklin Cemetery and the pallbearers were Gordon F. Furst, Elmer J. Patton, Hans Jorgensen and W. Ord Phipps.
Those who attended the services from out of the city were Mr. and Mrs. George Sallot, of New Castle, and Donald B. Wilt, of Erie.

Samuel married Mary Lucyna Beecher, daughter of William Henry Beecher and Mary Lucyna White.
