The Rev. Newell C. Grimes, pastor of Wesminster Presbyterian Church, will perform the ceremony and the bride will be given in marriage by her uncle.
Miss Betty Beecher, of this city, will attend her sister and Frank Ford, also of Harrisburg, will be best man. The bridge will appear in a blue velveteen frock with a corsage of orchids and her sister has chosen a gold crepe gown which will be accented by a corsage of bronze and gold blossoms.
Miss Beecher, who was graduated from William Penn High School, is employed by the William B. Schleisner Store, and Mr. Smith, who graduated from Easton High School, is employed by the Harrisburg Paper Company. He and his bride will live at 1511 Market street, Camp HIll.

Madeline was born and raised in Harrisburg, PA, graduating from the former William Penn High School in 1935. She was employed at the former Schleisner's and Harriet Hammer Lingerie Shop. Madeline was the widow of Edward W. Smith and is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Smith Marsico and her husband, Edward, Sr. of Camp Hill, PA; 3 grandchildren, Edward Marsico, Jr., Andrew J. Marsico, both of Harrisburg and Madeline Marsico Lukas of Larchmont, NY; six great-grandchildren, Connor, Alexander, Owen and Benjamin of Harrisburg and Katherine and Abigail of Larchmont, NY; her sister, Rhea Maff of Harrisburg and several nieces and a nephew. At Madeline's request, services will be private. Arrangements are being handled by Neill Funeral Home.
