2. Obituary: Bristol Banner: obituary of Mary Diehl on 4 Aug 1905 in Bristol, Elkhart, IN, USA. 1 Mary Diehl was born in Northumberland Co., Penn., May 16, 1833; died at her home in Washington township, 3 miles north of Bristol, July 27, 1905, aged 72yrs., 2mos., 11 days.
She was united in marriage with John Diehl June 28, 1853, and removed to this township about forty-one years ago. Death was due to heart trouble, and marked the close of an illness of three months.
Besides the aged husband, deceased is survived by five children, J. R. Diehl of Bloomingdale, Mich., Mrs. J. W. Luce of Chicago, Ill., and S. R. Diehl, Mrs. C. Meiser and Mrs. W. W. Wilt, of Elkhart.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday by Rev. Good, at Zion church and interment was made in Zion cemetery.
