Judge Tobias this morning granted a divorce to Ida E. Mitchell from her husband, Wm. Mitchell, on the grounds of extreme cruelty. She was restored to her former name, Ida E. Warner, and the defendant was divested of any dower in the real estate owned by her.

Captain Bond and Officer Bell visited the home of Ida Warner, at No. 1135 north State street, Saturday evening, and placed the Warner woman, her daughter, Bessie Warner, Jennie Brown, Harry Carr, J. Loyer and George Scotland, under arrest. The captain accepted bond for the appearance of the sextet, this morning, and later filed an affidavit against Ida Warner for conducting a house of ill-fame and against the others for being inmates of a disorderly house. The three women and Harry Carr appeared before the mayor, this morning, with their attorney, John DeGolley, and after pleading not guilty to the charges against them, their trial was set for Tuesday afternoon. Loyer and Scotland pleaded guilty to the charge against them and were each fined one dollar.

Ida Warner, charged with conducting a house of Ill-fame and Bessie Warner, Jennie Brown and Harry Carr, charged with being Inmates of a house of Ill-fame, who pleaded not guilty In the mayor's court, Monday morning, changed their pleas to guilty, Monday evening. Ida Warner was fined $25, Bessie Warner and Jennie Brown $10, each, and Harry Carr, five dollars. A thirty-days work-house sentence was given each of the women, this being suspended provided the Brown woman leaves town and the other two conduct themselves properly.

12. Obituary: Chillicothe Gazette: obituary of Ida E. Warner on 13 May 1935 in Chillicothe, Ross, OH. 12 Mrs. Ida Elizabeth Warner, 82, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John R. Ford, 251 North High street, Sunday morning. She had lived with her daughter, seven months, her former home having been at Marlon, O. She was born March 11th, 1852 at Leipsic, Ohio. Her parents were Thomas and Elizabeth Bradford Godfrey Williamson. She was a member of the First M. E. church at Marion for many years. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. John R. Ford, city, and Mrs. J. W. Koehrman, Toledo, and one brother Mr. F. G. Williamson, Lakeview, Mich. Private services will be conducted Wednesday morning at the residence. Friends may call any time previous to the hour of the funeral. Burial will be at Marion, O. the Reverend Schneider officiating.
