Also in the home is sister Mary Warner, 20. Everyone was born in Ohio. Mary and C.M.'s parents were born in Pennsylvania.

2. Census in 1900 in Marion, Marion, OH. ³ The 1900 Census recorded the household headed by Ida Mitchel, 47, born Mar 1853. Living with her: Son-in-law George Beicher, occupation moulder, 27, Dec 1873; her daughter, Bessie Beicher, 22, Jul 1878; and boarder William Grund, 6, Sep 1894. Everyone was born in Ohio. Ida, George, and Bessie's parents were all born in Pennsylvania. George and Bessie were married about 1895 and had no children in 1900.

3. Newspaper: Marion Star: Beicher Divorce, 22 Mar 1907, Marion, Marion, OH. ² The divorce suit of Bessie Beicher against George Beicher was heard by Judge Babst of the court of common please, this morning, and the plaintiff was given a decree. She was restored to her maiden name of Bessie Warner.
Mr. and Mrs. Beicher were married in 1894. Beicher, who failed to appear at the hearing, was charged with abuse and drunkeness and with having deserted his wife while she was sick at the home in Dayton.

Captain Bond and Officer Bell visited the home of Ida Warner, at No. 1135 north State street, Saturday evening, and placed the Warner woman, her daughter, Bessie Warner, Jennie Brown, Harry Carr, J. Loyer and George Scotland, under arrest. The captain accepted bond for the appearance of the sextet, this morning, and later filed an affidavit against Ida Warner for conducting a house of ill-fame and against the others for being inmates of a disorderly house. The three women and Harry Carr appeared before the mayor, this morning, with their attorney, John DeGolley, and after pleading not guilty to the charges against them, their trial was set for Tuesday afternoon. Loyer and Scotland pleaded guilty to the charge against them and were each fined one dollar.

Ida Warner, charged with conducting a house of Ill-fame and Bessie Warner, Jennie Brown and Harry Carr, charged with being Inmates of a house of Ill-fame, who pleaded not guilty In the mayor's court, Monday morning, changed their pleas to guilty, Monday evening. Ida Warner was fined $25, Bessie Warner and Jennie Brown $10, each, and Harry Carr, five dollars. A thirty-days work-house sentence was given each of the women, this being suspended provided the Brown woman leaves town and the other two conduct themselves properly.
