Bucher, 50, was retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years of service. He was a member of the Palmyra American Legion, the Fred Fuhrman VFW Post 23 of Lebanon and the World War Memorial Association. He is survived by his wife, Goldie Whitman Bucher; his mother, Katie R. Bucher of Annville; a brother, Donald G. Bucher of Palmyra and a sister, Jacqueline F. Kercher of Lebanon. He is the son of the late George T. Bucher. Interment in the Cornwall Cemetery.
