5. Obituary: Lancaster Examiner: obituary of Sarah A. Beecher on 13 Sep 1919 in Lancaster, Lancaster, PA. ⁵ Mrs. Sarah A. Beecher, wife of Jacob H. Beecher, died suddenly Monday afternoon of heart failure while performing her household duties. Mrs. Beecher suffered from influenza last fall and never fully recovered. Her husband and a daughter, Blanche Rineer, of this city, survive. The following step-children also survive: Mrs. Lulu Denlinger, of Lampeter township; William, David, Benjamin F. and Claire S. Beecher, all of this city. These brothers and sisters survive: Joseph Irvin, Isaac Irvin, Mrs. Calvin Eshleman and Mrs. Elizabeth Erisman, all of Lancaster. Mrs. Beecher was a member of the United Zion Mission church. The funeral was be held Thursday afternoon at 1 from the home of her step-son, Benjamin F. Beecher, 729 Rockland street. The body was taken by trolley to the Millersville Mennonite cemetery, where interment will be made.

Sarah next married Jacob H. Beecher, son of John Bleacher Jr. and Catherine, on 8 Feb 1905 in Lancaster, Lancaster, PA.¹ (Jacob H.
