Johnnie was a truck driver for the city of Tulsa and retired in 1978.

He served in the US Army during WWII in the European Theater.

Johnnie is preceded in death by his parents; a son, Melvin Leon (Sonny Boy) Younger; brothers, Leo and Louie, and a sister Iva Lee Coke.

He is survived by his wife Faye of the home; sons, Larry and Rusty; a stepson Rick Bitting; a daughter-in-law, Barbara Lemon; a grandson, Carson Younger; and extended relative and loved ones.

Funeral will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, Sept 11, 2007 at Reed-Culver Chapel with Rev. Bill Holcomb officiating. Burial will follow in the Tahlequah City Cem.
