Everyone and their parents were born in England, except Harriett and Enoch were born in Pennsylvania.

Census in 1900 in Saint Clair, Schuylkill, PA. 2 The 1900 Census in St. Clair recorded John Martin, 41, born Dec 1859, living with wife Martha, 35, Jul 1865; Annie, 18, Oct 1882; John L., 16; William, 14; Laura M., 12; and Virginia, 8. Everyone was born in Pennsylvania except Martha in England. John's parents were born in Wales.

Also in the home is Oliver A. Blanche, 58, and Peter Hansom, 50. Everyone was born in Pennsylvania except Martha in England, and Peter in Sweden.

6. Obituary: Pottsville Republican: obituary of Martha Martin Blanch on 22 Jun 1932 in Pottsville, Schuylkill, PA. 10 Mrs. Martha Martin Blanch, of 218 N. Third St., this city, formerly of St. Clair, died suddenly at her home on Tuesday evening, after being stricken with a stroke. She had been in good health and was stricken without warning. She died within a few minutes after being found by a member of her family. Mrs. Blanch was a native of England, coming to the United States when a small girl. She took up her residence at St. Clair until two years ago at which time time she moved to Pottsville, and resided there. She attended the Episcopal Church. She was preceded in death by her husband who died a few years ago. To survive her she leaves: two daughters, Mr. George Pearce, of Camden, N. J., and Virginia Sinton, of N. Third St.; a brother William Cookson. and a sister, Mrs. Anna Boot, of St. Clair. The funeral will be held Saturday afternon with the interment to be made at St. Clair in Odd Fellows.

At Pottsville Hospital, on June 21, 1932, Mrs. Martha Martin Blanch, aged 65 years. Third St. Interment in Odd Fellows' cemetery, St. Clair.
