Devine-Milligan
Martin Devine and Miss Janie Milligan, both of this vicinity, were married at the Church of the Holy Cross on Wednesday of last week. The young people are well and favorably known by a host of friends. They will make their home on the homestead of the groom's father, Patrick Devine, one of Cross Creek's most highly respected citizens. The bride is a niece of D. W. Slimmer of Adrian and a granddaughter of Mrs. Giffin where she has been visiting. William Dunn was the best man and Miss Bessie Devine of Kansas City was the bridsemaid. We congratulate.

D. W. Slimmer the Adrian merchant contemplates moving his store to the prospective RR station near Ed McNeive's on the Creek.
