1. Census in 1860 in Oxford, Warren, NJ. 3 Davis Hambright, 50, M. Clergyman, was living with Ann Mariah, 68; and Dinah, 17. Everyone was born in Pennsylvania. The post office was Oxford Furnace.

2. Census in 1870 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia, PA. 5 The 1870 census recorded Edmund Cronin, shoe maker, 37, living with wife Diana, 37; daughter Florence, 5; and daughter Ellen, 4 months born Feb 1870. Edmund and the children were born in Philadelphia and Diana in Lancaster county, PA.

3. Newspaper: Philadelphia inquirer: Ira S. Champion, 3 Mar 1910, Philadelphia, Philadelphia, PA. 6 Ira S. Champion was born at Pleasantville, Atlantic county, July 27, 1866. He attended Pennington Seminary and a Philadelphia business college. He was bookkeeper for a Philadelphia department store two years. He came to Ocean City in 1889 and bought an ice cream and milk business of his brother, Frank E. Champion. He was a trustee and treasurer of the first M. E. Church and active in revivals and all other services. In October, 1885, he married Miss Florence M. Cronin, daughter of Edmund D. Cronin, of Philadelphia. Her mother, Mrs. Conver, who, with her husband, Jesse Conver, were among the earliest residents of the city, is now lying seriously ill. Five children were born to them. Anna M. and Mrs. Augustus Quigg, living in this city; Violet M., Beulah G., Ira B. and Florence E. The latter died in infancy. Champion has quite heavy real estate holdings, although much of it is in his wife's name. He owns a handsome cottage at Seventh and Wesley, the Central Restaurant and Hotel, at Eighth and Asbury, the ice cream factories and residence at Seventh and Asbury, besides other property.

4. Obituary: Philadelphia Inquirer: obituary of Mrs. Conver on 24 Apr 1910 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia, PA. 7 OCEAN CITY, N.J. April 23 - Mrs. Conver, 67 years old, wife of former Councilman Jesse Conver and mother in-law of former City Treasurer Ira S. Champion, died last night after a lingering illness. Mr. and Mrs. Conver were among the earliest pioneers of the city.

5. Obituary: Morning Call: Obituary of Mrs. Jesse Conver on 29 Apr 1910 in Allentown, Lehigh, PA. 4 BANGOR. Relatives in Bangor have received word of the death at Ocean City, NJ, of Mrs Jesse Conver on Saturday. She was the aunt of Davis and George Hambright and Mrs Minnie Stocker, all of Bangor. They will attend the funeral at Hatfield, PA, this week.
