She was under a doctors care. Mrs. Hershey retired in 1972 after 32 years as a seamstress at the Rosenau Co., Ephrata. She belonged to Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity Of Ephrata, where she was a former church school teacher and member of the Lutheran Church Women. She was a member of Cloister 406, Order of the Eastern Star, where she belonged to the choir. She was a member of Golden Years Club of Ephrata and Lititz Senior Citizens. She was a graduate of Upper Leacock High School and attended Wolf Institute of Music. Bom in Leola, she was a daughter of the late William and Bertha Shirk Beecher. She and her husband, Earl B. Hershey,, were married 33 years. Her first husband, Harry E. Harsh Jr., died in 1966. Surviving besides her husband are a son, Donald B., married to Mary R. Risk Harsh of Malvern; a stepson, Fred G., married to Katie McKenzie Hershey of Ephrata; three sisters, Thelma M. Killian of Dover R3, Dorothy E. Riley of Orangevale, Calif., and Mary, married to Eugene Minnich of Columbia; two grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
