Other researchers show Tina Shopbell or Emma Strouser as wives of Reuben Riegel b.1838. But the 1860 Census in West Brunswick Township shows a Rheuben Rigel married to a Dianna, along with their children. This clearly is the correct Reuben, of the correct age, who is the son of Daniel Rigel who is living next door on the same census page in Orwigsburg, where Daniel is known to be buried. This researcher believes Dianna must be at least one of his wives, if he had more than one.
