The census shows in 1935 she was living in Bonneville, Oregon. They were born in California. Living next door in the same apartment is her divorced sister-in-law, May Naro [nee Beecher] and May's son William Naro.

3. Census in 1950 in Seaside, Monterey, CA. ¹¹ The 1950 census recorded at 1427 Mingo Avenue: William J. Beacher [sic], 73, living with wife Emma, 66. They were born in Pennsylvania.

She was born Jan. 26, 1916, in Watsonville, Calif. A homemaker, she was an eight-year resident of Las Vegas.
She is survived by her daughters, Shirley Ariagno of Las Vegas and Sharon Soares of Los Banos, Calif.; sons, Arthur Beecher of Salinas, Calif., William Beecher of Marina, Calif., and Robert Jr. of Emmett, Idaho; sister, Christina Cano of Lindsay, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Family Home Hospice. Palm Mortuary-Eastern handled arrangements.

Viola married Arthur Luther Beecher Sr., son of William Jacob Beecher Sr. and Emma A. Youst.¹ The marriage ended in divorce in Feb 1967.
