On Wednesday morning at ten o'clock at the home of Wm. Beecher of Anchor, the marriage of John Lorig, Jr. and Miss Louise Beecher occurred. The couple was attended by Carl and Matilda Lorig, brother and sister of the groom. Reverend Hahn officiated and after an elegant wedding dinner the couple departed for Chicago for a short trip. The bride is the daughter of William Beecher of Anchor and is a young lady that is well known and highly respected. The groom is the son of John and Bertha Lorig of near Colfax and is a prosperous young farmer. The young couple will reside on the Ben Harms place near Anchor. (Colfax Press - January 25, 1912)
